Collections Sustainability and Access

Introduction

In late 2024, the University Library renegotiated with Elsevier to break the "Big Deal" bundle, in alignment with a growing number of universities and colleges seeking to make collections spending sustainable and flexible. While access to articles from Elsevier, including ScienceDirect and Cell Press journals, may change, it is not disappearing.
