U.S. Inspectors General
There are inspectors general who conduct audits, investigations, and inspections within about 60 Federal agencies.

A new (October 2017) website, Oversight.gov, claims to contain "all Federal Inspector General reports in one place." (W&L also provides a Google-based search engine which searches the texts of these sites.)
