In celebration of Juneteenth, representatives from multiple Lexington and Rockbridge organizations joined forces to plan a series of fun and thought-provoking events set to occur over June 2021, including an art show, live music, and more.
Supporting this celebration, local librarians collaborated across institutions to develop this resource list. In addition to resources specific to Juneteenth, this guide lists materials related to American slavery and emancipation.
