The Spring Into Summer Success, Legal Research Certification program was held at W&L Law on March 17, 2018.
This guide identifies research strategies and resources for conducting efficient and cost-effective legal research, including both free sources on the web and subscription databases. It is intended to help prepare students for the workplace by promoting legal research skills that are valuable in any practice environment, whether private firm, public interest, or government.

Complete Questions 1-20 in Part I and in Part II complete the 4 Questions for the Break-Out Session you attended. You have until Monday, March 19th, at 5pm EST to complete this Exam and email it to Prof. Mart-Rice at email@example.com.
You may consult your notes from the Program, any online or print resource, or the associated Certification LibGuide (http://libguides.wlu.edu/LRCERT2018). You are not allowed to receive assistance or consult with another student who is taking, or has taken, this Certification Exam. In order to receive your Certification, you must receive a score of at least 70%. This Exam will be graded on a pass/fail basis with the grade of a “pass” entitling you to receive the “Legal Research Certificate” credential from the W&L Law Library.
