I am Washington and Lee's Humanities librarian and the liaison to all the departments and programs in the humanities. Please see the list in the right hand column for details. I help students and faculty with their research, and teach classes in research methods and skills. For each class I teach I create on online Research Guide filled with suggestions ranging from finding materials, evaluating sources, citing sources, plagiarism, etc.  Included in my responsibilities is the collection development (books, journals, videos, CDs, databases) for these disciplines.

Students often encounter obstacles during their research. To help the student understand how to navigate our homepage and our resources, I can visit your class and present a research guide on the topic of the course. I also create research guides without coming to your class. Either way, please fill out this form.

As the coordinator of exhibits in Leyburn Library, I am always looking for new ideas and/or participation. Please contact me with topics you'd like to see highlighted in our exhibits. They can be related to academic life, student life, celebrations, etc.
